Complete these steps
- Make sure you have progressed far enough in the game to access the DLC features. You must free all Divine Beasts before some features become accessible.
- Ensure the console has been updated to the latest system menu version.
- How to check for the latest system update
- Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the System Settings menu and select System.
- Select System Update to start the system update process.
- The system will check to see if an update is available.

- How to update game software
- Ensure the Nintendo Switch console is connected to the Internet.
- From the HOME Menu, select the icon for the software you wish to update without starting the game or application.
- Press the + Button or – Button on your controller, then select Software Update followed by Via the Internet.

- Access the Nintendo eShop with the Nintendo Account that purchased the DLC.
- Select the picture of your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
- Highlight Redownload on the left side of the screen and find the DLC in the list. Select the orange icon to begin the download.
- If you don't have enough storage space for the DLC, you will need to free up some space on the Nintendo Switch before you can complete the download.
