Using the latest firmware release, DS-K1T671TM-3XF can send email notifications directly from the terminal, eliminating the dependency on client software for such feature. This document will guide through the necessary pre-requisites and procedures required to setup email notifications on DS-K1T671TM-3XF.

There are two ways to trigger alarm output of indoor station:

1. Zone alarm :when zone alarm is detected, it will trigger alarm output of indoor station

2. Calling linkage: when door station or other indoor station calls indoor station, it will trigger alarm output

The newly added Video Quality Diagnosis function in Basic Event supports 15 kinds of video quality detection functions which are Brightness Exception, Color Cast, Snow Interference, Stripe Interference, Image Freeze, Signal Loss, Clarity Exception, Image Flutter, Video Tampering, Blurred Screen, Image Noise, Light Spot, Image Purple Edge, ICR Exception, Protective Film Unremoved detection.

Each diagnosis function separately supports the setting of rules, linkage method and arming schedule.

Camera Installation Requirements

1. The height of the camera needs to be in the range of 2.5 m to 6 m.

2. The tilt angle of the camera is recommended to be in the range of 25° to 60°.

3. The best detection area is within 6 m of the horizontal distance from the camera.

1. Go to [configuration]-[Network]-[Advanced Settings]-[Integration Protocol], check the checkbox of Enable ONVIF

When you look at this document, please understand the difference between the two versions first.

Firmware version is the program version .To upgrade the firmware version, you need to use the .apk file to upgrade.

System version is the keyboard operating system version. To upgrade it you need to use special update package.

Please note that this document is written specifically for how to upgrade the system version.

The smart playback function provides an easy way to get through the less effective information. When you select the smart playback mode, the system will analyze the video containing the motion or VCA information. It will mark it with red color and play it in normal speed, while the video without motion will be played in the 16-time speed（the speed function can be configurable, -E/-Q is not supported）. The smart playback rules and areas are configurable.

1. Open the waterproof cap of the switch button.

2. Press and hold the switch button. 5s later, the image will be no video because the camera is rebooting and do not loosen the button when the camera is rebooting.

To meet customers’ requirement for connecting analog and IP cameras in different rate, Hikvision Turbo HD DVR provide the function of disabling analog channels to expand IP channels. This document is mainly to introduce how to achieve this function.
