could work in raptor rogue or something. But I like c’thun better. There’s just not enough space for 2 old gods in 1 deck.

I think with this card deathrattle-rogue will resist some heavy control matchups. But not sure if meta will whenever slow down in this century…

Another fun interaction is with Museum Curator getting cards like Sylvanas or Cairne is that once you play the other one that is actually “in” your deck, N’Zoth will give you two of the card… And that is pretty terrifying.

How would Raptor work with this? Would it still have the Death-rattle it copied? Would it just be a 3/4 body? Would it not be a valid target at all?

Raptor is considered a battlecry minion , but his battlecry gives him a deathrattle , so no raptor doesnt come back, but silenced deathrattles like sylvanas will come back

Looking at deathrattle minions being in standard right now and the fact you skip a whole turn and the need for space on your board this is a crappy minion.
If more than 6 dr minions died in the game what happens, random selection or by order played?

I think its a good minion in wild, I mean double sludge slows down the enemy and you can get some good deathrattles besides those sludge belchers

Amazingly good card, exactly what you expect from a 10 Mana card.
Best part: deathratte cards are resistant to removal, so it will be hard o lose a game after this one hits the board. Maybe vanish is a good card after all…

Vanish will only help if you kill N’Zoth first. Otherwise they’ll just drop it again and get exactly the same board state as when you removed, except now they have it in their hand too.

Confirmed by Blizzard that it does NOT work with cards that grant Deathrattle. I assume this is because most cards (C’Thun excepted) lose track of buffs or alterations when not in play. A dead Earth Elemental floating in the cyber-graveyard won’t know you had previously given it deathrattle. This is also why Unearthed Raptor, even if it got its battlecry, doesn’t work with N’Zoth. They can fit in the same deck maybe, but not in that way.

Put some taunts with deathrattle in your deck, and you might actually survive after playing this. It makes midrangeish decks beat control every single time.

Now this card will be ammmmmmmazing in standarthe, wild and any other format…

That’s Way better then Rafaam and other slow 10 drops. Cathun is dead, comparing to this one. Best decks with this card are druid, couse even with a nerfed savage roar it can be inervated turn 6!!! Controlish Hunter -(feign death) , priest with the new card(a bit slow, but might see play) . Let’s think of decks together guys

This card is going to be fun in wild mode

But there are no good deathrattle cards heading towards standard mode , unless they introduce more. The only one that works is sylvannes at this point

and LOE and TGT didnt introduce more deathrattles cards

Expect to see Cairne come back, I think. Free Harvest Golems are also really nice and annoying to deal with (and not bad on turn 3 if the metagame slows, which it looks like they’re trying to do). You don’t need a dedicated Deathrattle deck for this card to be extreme value. In fact, only having a select few means you can be very careful about what actually gets summoned. If you ran too many, some of the most useful cards might not get summoned again for less desirable ones.

      Other Deathrattles of note:
      Savannah Highmane
      Cairne
      Sylvanas
      Tomb Pillager
      Harvest Golem
      Mounted Raptor
Wobbling Runts (arguably, but if it does get slow enough, having these get re-summoned is a real pain to deal with)
      Thalnos
      Loot Horder (free card draw)
Tirion (HUGE DEAL….Control Paladin is now CRAZY)
Abomination (May be worth it in this sort of situation)

Even one or two extra of these can be a huge pain to deal with… not to mention the more expensive legendaries possible.

Why would anybody play Gnomish over Loot Horder? Even in midrange dekcs like Shaman, you rather have loot horder to play on 2 than 2/4 on 4. Its just better card.

Because with piloted shredder going away it’s a solid 4 drop, and a 2/1 late game is probably garbage.

You do realize that Dreadsteed is TGT, right? Darnassus Aspirant, another deathrattle in TGT, there is also Skeleton Knight, Chillmaw, Rhonin, and Anub’arak, all of those are TGT. Let’s see, there is also Huge Toad, Mounted Raptor, Tomb Pillager, Anubisath Sentinel, Wobbling Runts, all of those are LoE. That’s quite a few deathrattles introduced, interesting for two sets that didn’t introduce any deathrattles
