Waikuteru and a team of modders have really done something special recently. They’ve taken Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and modded the game to give it an unofficial DLC/expansion called Second Wind. While modding game is common, this is a Nintendo Switch game, and it’s a big update too. They’ve added a lot of content to the game with this. Of course, I’m not sure if it’ll work on Switch without some kind of hardware/software hacking and modding. However, it works just fine on Switch emulator CEMU. As you can expect, how you get the copy of the game and such beforehand, we can’t really provide links, etc, so please don’t ask.
Breath of the Wild
Their mod, known as Second Wind, overhauls quite a lot of the game’s shrines, and even adds new and improved crafting mechanics, as well as a range of improvements to make the game a little more enjoyable and fresh.
15 new side quests, 8 new areas, 2 heart containers, 12 One-Handed Swords and 10 Two-Handed Swords. There’s also 4 Spears, 4 Bows, 12 Shields and 35 Armour pieces. Finally, if that wasn’t enough, there are 8 Enemies, 28 Animals, 13 Bosses and 20 NPCs!
