Use this procedure to determine if a target,identified by its host name or IP address, can be reached.
Prerequisites
Fully qualified domain name or IP address to reach.
Pinging a host name or IP address
Fromthe main menu, navigate to the Settings screen.
Click Networking inthe Networking panel.
Select Actions→Ping.
The Ping screenopens.
Enter either the targethost name or IP address, then click Ping.
Read the output in the Results field.
Click Close tostop pinging and to close the screen.
