Starting from the Service Catalog
To test the new service from the Service Catalog, select the newlycreated service and choose SAP Gateway Client.

Starting in ABAP Development Tools
If the SAP Gateway is located in the same ABAP system and you open the DDL editor with therelevant DDL source again, you will detect that a new decorator 
indicatesa successfully activated OData service. If you move the cursor over the decorator,an info screen provides you with a link to the OData service.

In addition, an ICF node (object type SICF) for theOData service has been generated - assuming that a productive package (none$TMP package) was assigned for serviceactivation.
