SamsungCloud allows you to backup, sync and restore content stored on your device. You'll never lose anything important to you and can seamlessly view photos across alldevices. If you replace your phone, you won’t lose any of your data because youcan copy it across using Samsung Cloud.
Backing up my device using Samsung Cloud
Backing up your device to the Samsung Cloud will copy your content or data, and create a restore point. You can use this to restore your content or set up a new device.
Follow the steps below to back up your data to Samsung Cloud:
1From the home screen, choose Apps or swipe up to access your apps
2Choose Settings
3Choose Accounts and backup or Cloud and accounts or Samsung Cloud
4Choose Back up and Restore or Back up data
5Choose Back up data
6Select the data you would like to back up, then choose Back up
Restoring my device using Samsung Cloud
Restore uses the copy of your content or data currently stored in the cloud to restore or copy data to your device.
Follow the steps below to restore your data to your device:
1From the home screen, choose Apps or swipe up to access your apps
2Choose Settings
3Choose Accounts and backup or Cloud and accounts or Samsung Cloud
4Choose Back up and Restore or Restore
5Choose Restore data
6Select the data you would like to restore, then choose Restore
PLEASENOTE: that if you already have backup data from other devices, you can restoreit to the new device. To do this choose Backup Deviceand select the device you wish to use.
7Tap Install
8Tap Done
