The CaHA gel microspheres are then absorbed by the body, leaving the collagen that your body has produced. With Sculptra, it is a similar process except with PLLA which is poly-L-lactic acid, collagen stimulator. That’s why your metabolism is a huge factor in how long Radiesse lasts for you. Once the microspheres are metabolized, your collagen production will no longer be stimulated. So, if you’ve heard people claiming Radiesse isn’t lasting for them, it’s due to their body and metabolism.
