Breath of the Wild’s biggest fan mod, titled Second Wind and made by Waikuteru, just received a massive update that includes Ordon Village, a new story, characters, minigames, shops, and more!
This update sees Link traveling to the new village of Ordon, which is located just north of the Serenne Stable.Here, Link encounters a unique set of characters, including the descendant of a Hylian knight named Rakib.The interactions with Rakib lead to a variety of interesting sidequests, and even a battle unlike anything seen in the base game of Breath of the Wild.A short walkthrough of the story can be seen in the video below!
Just the main story alone adds about 30 minutes of content to Breath of the Wild, and that does not even include the many crafting recipes, shops, sidequests, or minigames that are tagged along to the update.It is always amazing to see just how creative and dedicated the Zelda fan base is!
The game can be downloaded through the Second Wind Discord channel.The previous update from last month saw the addition of Age of Calamity’s Sooga, mammoths, and more.
